Kallarackal Kadavil Rev.Fr. Mathew. J Kadavil was also known as Swami Danananda S J in the later stages of his spiritual life. He was affectionately called Mathukutty.
He is a well known retreat father.
He worked in St.Xavier’s College at Palayamcotta in Tamil Nadu as a Teacher & Prefect, Andhra Loyola college, Vijayawada (1967 – 1978 ) as a teacher & Vice-Principal (1967–1970 ) and also warden at the New Hostel during 1970—1972. He was also at Gogineni Hostel as warden during 1974—1978 and also was a counsellor at Andhra Loyola College during 2002.
During his stay at Vijayawada And Secuderabad, he was actively involved in the effort to secure inter—religious harmony. In 1978 he joined St.Patric High school at Secunderabad as a teacher, In 1980 he joined as a teacher at Loyola Public School at Gundoor, Nallapattu Distric in Andhra Pradesh. Later he became an Indian Sannyasi and
changed his name as Swami Danananda S J.
He is the 5th son of Kallarackal Kadavil Sri. Joseph. J Kadavan, Thaikadavil Vaikom & Smt. Mariakutty daughter of Chaco Eapen, Pakalomattom, Kannathussery, Koyithara at Kainakari.
